Ajmal,
builds
products.
Independent operator at the seam of AI, payments infrastructure, and consumer product. Six shipping systems, one documented kill, and a habit of preferring evidence over decks.
A practitioner, not a theorist.
I build at the intersection of AI, payments, and consumer product. Currently in Product at Zwitch.io, where I worked with the team on the MCP server that exposes payment primitives to AI agents — infrastructure that didn't exist a year ago and now does. Came up through BD before that.
Before that I built a Rust web crawler with RDAP that scores merchant risk during onboarding from domain age, registrar, hosting, and content signals. It runs in production. Before that I built an internal RAG over our API specs so support engineers don't have to ctrl-F docs at 11pm.
On the side I shipped Split AI — an India-first group expense app with UPI deeplink settlement and a WhatsApp growth loop. I also closed Silent Capital, a 3,000-line Python YouTube engine, when the distribution thesis collapsed. The postmortem is public. Killing things well matters as much as launching them.
Seven systems. Six live, one killed.
